Origin & Cocoa
The cocoa for JAKAO Pure Uganda 100% comes from the Bundibugyo growing region in western Uganda. Around 500 organically certified small farmers cultivate small plots of one to two hectares there.
In addition to fair market prices, the cocoa farmers receive training in sustainable agriculture, ecological practices, quality management, and financial independence. The special location near the Semuliki Forest National Park shapes the intense and complex character of this single-origin chocolate.
